22-1-18 Cherry is an 18 month old female Pug Cross who has come to us from a breeder. She is very sweet, and has a lovely nature about her! She is not going to be house trained, as she has never lived in a home before, and is not walking on a lead. Cherry needs another canine companion to live with to help her grow in confidence. Cherry currently has two cherry eye's that need repairing and our vet will do this before she is adopted.

13-02-18 UPDATE
Cherry had both cherry eyes repaired when she was spayed.  The operation went very well and her eyes are looking really good.

13-03-18 UPDATE
Cherry is mostly clean in the house now and is walking well on a harness.  She is good meeting people and dogs although nervous of big dogs.  She travels well in the car and is not too bothered by traffic when out on a walk .She loves children and is fine with our cat .she goes in a crate while I take children to school or nip to shops but isnt very keen on this. At night she sleeps on my bed and sleeps all night, she is a gentle natured lovely little dog and has a cheeky playful side.  Cherry will be a fabulous addition to some lucky family.

20-06-18 UPDATE

Cherry has settled very well in foster in Plymouth.  She walks well on a lead and harness  gets on well with all dogs and greets them politely on our walks. She mostly ignores our cat and travels well in the car. Cherry has a lovely nature and has a cheeky side to her that makes me smile every day.  She really deserves a fabulous home of her own and the family who chooses her will soon discover what a fabulous little girl she really is.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog. You will find a break down of what the adoption fee covers under our Adoption Procedures (see link below) If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
