16-02-2018 Beema is a 5 year old ex-breeding Beagle.  She is a wweet girl who will come up for a fuss so is braver than many of the dogs here.  Beema really likes the company of the other dogs so she will need at least one other in her new home.  This will help her with house training and lead walking.  She is going to make a fabulous friend so if you have the time, patience and love to offer her the life she can only dream of please put in an application for Beema.

11-03-18 UPDATE

I have worked with Beema for a few days and her confidence has grown each day as she now trusts me and comes running for cuddles when I go to see her. She loves her treats and looking around for other treats just like all beagles do as they like to follow the sent. Beema took less than two minutes to find a treat I left on the top of the the box in the bellow picture. As she is an exbreeding dog she is a lot more confident in a pack so will need a dog friend at home to help her get used to living in a loving home. She is now 5 and has never been given any training, so she will need a little help house training and learning to walk on a lead, but as she loves her treats and cuddles I’m very confident she won’t take long to learn. Beema doesn’t really know her name but she does come when I call her especially if I give another dog attention or have a treat.
So if you are looking for a lovely sweet little addition to your family this little girl would be ideal with a little patience and lots of TLC, and yes, some treats!!!

24-04-18 UPDATE

Well what can I say about one of my favourite girls - Beema the Beautiful, Bubbly, slightly Boisterous Beagle?! She has come a long way since her arrival a few months ago - and is such a lovely, fun girl to have around! How she is still here waiting for her forever family is beyond any of us!
Beema is one of the more confident beagles we have in our care. She will happily approach people for a fuss, including people she doesn't know at all! She greets people she knows well in a very happy manner - her face lights up and she seems to smile, her eyes sparkle, she then likes to rest her two front paws on her human friends legs so she can be that little closer to having a hug!
Beema now walks perfectly on a lead. Her nose is to the ground and she makes these snorting sounds which is both hilarious and adorable!
Although Beema is now quite a confident girl, I think she would be so much happier if she was homed with a more confident resident dog, who she will learn a lot from, and who will provide her with the doggy company she just loves and thrives on. She is quite a strong character and extremely playful - she isn't every dogs cup of tea bless her, only because she is full of it - playful and busy. She just loves to have fun! You will find her either in her bedroom playing with her toys or out front play wrestling with another dog! She is active and loves her walks, and thoroughly enjoys a good run around the sandschool too! She runs out of her kennel and down the corridor to her play yard, and the other way around when called. She's a very bright lady indeed.
Beema is a loving, friendly, busy, fun-loving, adventure seeking, spirited Beagle, who has a real zest for life. Whoever adopts this lady is going to have a lovely time having fun and being active along side their future loyal best friend. I'd adopt her!

I got to meet this lovely girl today and I have to say I'm already a little in love with her. She is such a sweet dog and I think she would fit in perfectly with a nice family that has a few dogs she can bounce around and play with. She loves her walks and is always happy to see you. If you think you can give this girl a nice home don't hesitate to put in a app, you won't regret

31-05-18 UPDATE

Beema has been in foster for a month now , she has settled really well in a home environment. She loves other dogs ,she adores children  she is a delight to have around.
She walks really nicely on the lead - she doesn't pull which is makes her lovely to take for a walk.
She has a bouncy happy nature and has started to listen well to commands - unless there is food around ! But hey she is a beagle ! And she is learning about all those wonderful tastes and treats she was deprived of for so long.
She gives us a bark when she needs the toilet & is clever and quick to learn.
She would love a home where she is aloud to bounce and be happy!! Its been a long time coming for her
Oh she also snores super loud and makes little snorts like a piglet !

13-06-18 UPDATE
Beema  craves love from humans much more than all our dogs, she sleeps downstairs in the hall on her own - Rolo was with her for the first couple of weeks but she has taken to being upstairs with us and Beema stays downstairs in her crate & doesn't make a sound except snoring very loudly all night.
I have also been taking her out on her own everyday because of not being able to leave her in the garden without watching her - and she walks lovely and seems very happy .
She is a confident girl who could be rehomed as an only dog in the right circumstances

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

Although BEEMA is by donation rather than the full adoption fee, we ask for a minimum donation of £100 to help cover the costs that have been incurred. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
