Lucky known as George here has now been in foster care nearly 2 months in this time he's grown into a happy playful confident little boy (3kg)
The type of home George needs is one where he has a lap to snuggle on & also a friendly dog that will play & then curl up together
Having said he's confident , that is yet to come in the outside world
He's not a dog that is going to want long walks but he loves zoomies round the garden & I think in time would enjoy being carried in a little papoose
George has heaps of love to give & will make his human & dog companion very happy

A Little Lap Dog Full of Life and Love
Lucky, (known as George in foster), is a 2-year-old Chihuahua cross who has truly stolen the hearts of everyone who meets him. He came to Many Tears from a home, through no fault of his own, after his previous owner sadly became too unwell to care for him. Despite all the recent changes, this sweet little lad has shown incredible resilience and joy. Lucky arrived missing part of one leg, as you can see by the photos. He does have a little paw where a leg should be, but he does not use it and this doesn't bother him and gets around very well.
Now thriving in foster care, Lucky has proved himself to be a loving, playful, and happy soul. He weighs just under 3kg and may be small in size, but he’s full of character and energy. Though he may only have three working legs, that doesn’t slow him down one bit. He can jump onto the sofa, dash around the garden, and even manage the stairs (although he’s still working on the coming down part!). His little limb doesn’t seem to bother him at all, and he’s more than capable of enjoying life to the full.
Lucky absolutely adores the company of other dogs and plays beautifully with his foster siblings, so much so that even the older dogs have joined in his games. He would love a home with at least one or two small to medium-sized canine companions who enjoy a good play session and can match his bubbly energy. Because of his size, large breeds wouldn’t be suitable for him.
He’s not yet comfortable with walks and the outside world, so his perfect home will have a big, secure garden where he can explore, play, and sniff at his own pace. With time, he may grow in confidence, but for now, his garden is his adventure zone.
Lucky is a proper little lap dog too. He loves snuggling on the sofa and will make a wonderfully loyal companion. Because he can sometimes feel unsure, he would be best suited to an adult-only home where life is calm and he can settle at his own pace.
If you have a dog who has recently lost a friend and is feeling a bit lonely, Lucky could be just the cheerful little spark to bring joy back into their life.
This lovely boy has so much love to give and is waiting for a kind, understanding family who will cherish him for the gem he is.

Lucky Aka George is a little dog that loves life ,he lives here in foster with 8 other dogs & instigates play with them all even the old dogs have joined in the fun
George is not the type of dog who's going to enjoy the outside world but of course that could change in time , but for now a large garden & friends he could play with would be perfect for him
Don't let having 3 legs fool you he can do anything a dog can do with all 4 legs
He's a real lap dog & loves to snuggle on the sofa
If you have an existing dog who lost his / companion & is missing them George could be the one to bring some happiness back into their life's
George is just under 3kg so no large breeds would be suitable

Lucky know as George here is the most loving playful happy little soul
He lives here with 8 other dogs & is a little whirlwind
Having 3 legs doesn't stop him doing anything he can jump on the sofa climb stairs although he hasn't mastered coming down just yet .
The home that would suit George is when where he has a couple of dog his own size or slightly bigger who are willing to play with him , he is a young dog with lots of energy
He isn't a dog atm who is going to enjoy the outside world that may or may not come in time , so a big secure garden is a must for George
He is going to make some one a very loyal little companion

Lucky has come to us from a home, but due to his owner’s ill health, he and his doggy friends were brought into our care. This adorable boy is easy to handle but understandably overwhelmed by all the changes and what he really wants is to be back in a cosy home where he feels safe and loved.
Lucky has moved straight into a foster home, where he is settling in well and seems to enjoy human company and likes a gentle fuss. He loves his canine friends and so will be looking for a home where there is another kind and confident resident dog to be his friend.
Lucky is missing one leg, as you can see by the photos. He does have a little paw where a leg should be, but he does not use it and it does not seem to bother him and he gets around well. He is the most playful and happy little soul!
Like a true Chihuahua, Lucky dreams of a life of luxury - warm blankets, soft beds, and plenty of snuggles. He has a heart of gold and just needs the right home to help him settle in. He’ll need an adult only environment where he can take things at his own pace. Although he has lived in a home in the past, he may have a few accidents at first so his adopters will need to be kind as he refreshes his memory with house training.
Right now, walks might be a bit too scary for him, so he’d love to start with gentle sniffing adventures in the garden before building up his confidence. With love and understanding, Lucky will thrive in a home willing to give him a lap to rest on and plenty of patience.
Can live with other dogs
This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
