Inka has come to us from and breeder and has now been with us for a couple of months, and during that time, this sweet, delicate soul has slowly started to come out of her shell. She arrived unsure and frightened of the world around her. But day by day, she’s been learning that kindness exists and it’s beginning to show in the way she cautiously seeks comfort and connection.

She remains a nervous little girl, but she’s made gentle progress. She’s beginning to show glimmers of her personality, and those who know her well can see the soft-hearted girl within. Inka is still learning to trust and will need adopters who understand that healing takes time. She’s best suited to a calm, quiet, adult-only home with people who will go at her pace and let her settle in gently.

A confident, kind resident dog is absolutely essential for Inka. She finds great reassurance in the company of other dogs and often looks to them for guidance. Having a canine friend will not only boost her confidence but help her navigate all the new experiences that come with home life, from house training to lead walking and everything in between.

Inka is a truly special girl. She may not be the type to immediately seek out affection, but with love and patience, she has the potential to become a deeply loyal and loving companion. For the right person or family, watching her blossom will be an incredibly rewarding journey.

Inka has had two teeth extracted at the time of her spay. She’s ready now, not perfect, but perfectly worthy of love and a second chance.

Inka's Diary

  • Inka is a gentle soul who has been at Many Tears for two months now. During her time here, she’s begun to settle in and show glimpses of her sweet personality, but she remains a very nervous girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. With each passing day, she takes small steps forward, and it's clear that with patience and love, she has the potential to blossom into a loyal and loving companion.

Inka is now ready to find her forever home, and she’s looking for something very special. She needs a quiet, adult-only environment where she can feel safe and secure. A calm, understanding household will give her the time she needs to build confidence at her own pace. Her ideal adopters will be patient, gentle, and have lots of time to dedicate to helping her adjust to home life and learn that human hands can be trusted.

One of the most important things Inka will need is a kind, resident dog who can be her guide and best friend. Having another dog around helps her feel more at ease and gives her a sense of security and companionship. She looks to other dogs for reassurance and guidance, so a confident, friendly canine companion will be key in helping her settle in a new home.

Inka may take time to fully come out of her shell, but for the right person, the reward of watching her grow and trust will be immeasurable. She’s a delicate and special girl who just needs a chance, and a quiet, loving home where she can finally feel safe.

  • Say hello to Inka, a delicate little soul who’s just arrived with us from Ireland, carrying her travel documents and a whole lot of love waiting to be discovered. Listed as a Poodle cross, we believe she’s mostly (if not all) Bichon Frise and full of that signature sweetness.

Like many of our special girls, Inka is an ex-breeding dog who’s never known the comfort of living in a home. Everything will be new and strange to her, she’s nervous and frightened right now, but incredibly gentle and easy to handle, a little girl who wants to trust, and just needs time.

Inka adores her kennel friends and will absolutely need a kind, confident resident dog in her forever home to help show her the way and give her the reassurance she craves. She hasn’t yet experienced housetraining, lead walking, or the sights and sounds of home life, but with gentle guidance, we’re confident she’ll blossom into a beautiful little companion.

She’s a true honey-pie, soft-hearted, sensitive, and waiting patiently for someone to see the gem hiding behind those soulful eyes.

If you have a loving home and the time to help a worried little dog bloom, Inka might just be the missing piece of your heart.
