Playful and Loving Shinta is Ready for His Forever Home

Shinta is a very handsome 10-month-old miniature Poodle who has come to us from a breeder. After a very limited start in life, he has made wonderful progress in his foster home and is now ready to find a family of his own.

When Shinta first arrived, he was a nervous and overwhelmed little boy who wasn’t sure how to trust people. With gentle care, time, and lots of love, he has blossomed beautifully. Shinta is now a loving boy who enjoys cuddles and will happily climb onto your knee once he knows you. He has discovered the joy of walks and now walks very well on a lead. On familiar safe walks, he even enjoys some off-lead time and has developed good recall.

Shinta is currently living happily with both male and female dogs in his foster home, and his best playmate is his brother Scooter. While they could be rehomed together if the right home comes along, Shinta would also be very happy in a home with other kind and confident resident dogs who can continue to help him grow in confidence. As with any young dog, he will need someone home for most of the day to continue his training, offer plenty of companionship, and provide the activity and mental stimulation he thrives on.

Shinta still has his playful puppy mischief and is full of fun. He has never lived in a home before foster care, so his adopters should be prepared to continue supporting him with house training, new experiences, and helping him adjust to family life.

Shinta has come so far and is now ready to continue his adventure with a family who can offer him love, security, and plenty of fun along the way. If you have a kind home and are ready to welcome a sweet, playful companion, Shinta may be the perfect match.

Shinta's Diary

  • Shinta is a very handsome young miniature poodle who has come into foster with Scooter. These two pups love playing together and can be rehomed as a pair in the right home.

Shinta is happily sharing his foster home with numerous male and female dogs with no issues. When he first arrived, he was nervous when approached, but once he knows you, he is a loving boy who will happily climb on your knee for cuddles.

He is loving going out on walks with the other dogs and is doing so well that he is now off-lead on familiar, safe walks with good recall. Shinta is full of puppy mischief and play, and will need a home with someone at home most of the time who can continue his training and adventures.

  • Shinta is a very handsome older puppy who has come to us from a breeder to begin his new life. This dear little boy is very worried and overwhelmed right now, as he’s had very little socialisation and is finding the world a scary and confusing place.

He will need another kind and confident resident dog in his new home to be his friend and take him under their wing. He’s never lived in a home before, so his adopters will need to help him learn all about home life including house training and walking on a lead.

Shinta is currently touch sensitive and unsure of human contact. He doesn’t yet understand that kind hands bring love and comfort. He will try his best to run away when frightened, but if you hold him gently and quietly, he does begin to settle in your arms. With time, patience and lots of reassurance, we believe Shinta will blossom into a loyal and loving companion.

Shinta’s journey may not be a quick one, but for the right family, it will be a deeply rewarding one. If you have a calm home, a loving heart, and a kind dog who could be a friend to him, please consider offering Shinta the second chance he so deserves.
