I need a home filled with lots of love!

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me settle in and I don't mind cats!

I’ve never been on walks before, but I think I will like them.

  • Training needs

Tommy is a young, sweet-natured boy who has come to us from a breeder to find the loving home he truly deserves. He has the most endearing little face that’s full of character, and once you meet him, he’s sure to capture your heart.

When Tommy first arrived, he was understandably unsure and overwhelmed by the big changes in his life. However, in just a short time, we’ve already seen his confidence begin to grow. Each morning he now greets us with a happy little wiggle and is always pleased to see a friendly face. He’s making steady progress with his harness training, he can pause if something feels a bit scary, but with a gentle voice and a bit of encouragement, he’s learning that the world isn’t such a frightening place.

Tommy loves the company of other dogs and clearly gains a great deal of comfort from them, so he will need to be rehomed with a kind and confident resident dog who can help him adjust and show him the ropes. He gets along beautifully with his kennel friends and it’s lovely to watch his personality begin to shine when he’s around them.

As Tommy has never lived in a home before, everything will be new to him. His adopters will need to give him time and patience while he learns about things like house training and general home life. He could live with kind, gentle children who understand that he will need time to settle and find his paws.

Our vets have noted that Tommy has a right patella that may be prone to luxation. With careful exercise and muscle development this may improve over time, but adopters should be aware that if treatment is needed in the future, it is unlikely to be covered by insurance.

Tommy is a truly lovely little dog who, with the right guidance and gentle support, will blossom into a wonderful companion. If you have a kind resident dog and the time to help him grow in confidence, please consider offering this special boy the chance he’s been waiting for.

Tommy's Diary

  • When Tommy first arrived, he was understandably a bit shut down and nervous, but we are thrilled to share the incredible progress he’s made in such a short time! Each morning, Tommy greets us like a bundle of joy, wagging his little bum in excitement. He’s adapted well to walking on a harness, while he occasionally stops when feeling unsure, a little reassurance is all he needs to spring back into adventure mode!

Tommy gets along wonderfully with his kennel friends, and you can really see his confidence shine when he’s around them. Tommy can be rehomed with children who understand and respect dogs, especially considering that he hasn’t had the easiest start in life. Patience and time will be key for him as he adjusts to his new home.

  • Tommy is a handsome young boy who has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. He has the most unique little face that is sure to steal your heart and his bright personality makes him even more special!

Full of life and loving towards everyone he meets, Tommy is a real joy to be around. However, he can feel a little worried when he is away from his kennel friends, so he will need a home with a kind and confident resident dog who can be his friend and help him feel safe.

Tommy has never lived in a home before, so he will need patient adopters who can teach him all about home life, including important skills like house training. He will also need to learn about wearing a harness and walking on a lead, which is something we think he will really enjoy as he grows in confidence.

Our vets have noted that Tommy’s right patella will need to be monitored for possible patella luxation. With gentle exercise and as he builds up his muscle, this may well improve, but adopters should be aware of this and be happy to continue monitoring his progress as should he require any treatment in the future it would not be coverable by insurance.

Tommy is a very special boy with so much love and happiness to give. If you think you could offer him the home, support, and friendship he needs to flourish, please submit an application form.
