02-05-25 Eccles Cake is a shy little boy who has come to us from a breeder in search of the loving forever home he truly deserves. He’s understandably a little worried to find himself here and can be quite timid when meeting new people, but once he's in your arms, he starts to relax and feel safe.

He isn’t yet brave enough to approach people on his own and will need a patient, gentle adopter who can offer him the time and kindness he needs to build his confidence. Eccles Cake finds great comfort in the company of his kennel friends, and for this reason, he must go to a home with a kind, resident dog who can help him learn the ropes and offer reassurance as he settles in.

Eccles Cake has never lived in a home before, so everything from house training to walking on a lead will be completely new to him. His adopters must be understanding and prepared to support him as he adjusts to home life.

Eccles Cake is a sweet, sensitive little soul with so much love to give. With a little patience and a lot of love, we know he’ll blossom into the happy, confident dog he’s meant to be.

He will need to attend puppy socialisation classes and his adopters will need to agree to have him neutered when he reaches the appropriate age, as per our adoption agreement. He has arrived with some dirty ears which require cleaning.

Eccles Cake has been given the Gift of Life by Pete Hobson
