  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet, adult only home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me settle in and I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I’ve never been on walks before and will need a gentle introduction.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I am missing several teeth and would benefit from a soft food diet.

04-05-25 Little Acorn has come to us from a breeder to begin her new life, and she is one of the tiniest, most delicate girls you could ever meet. This sweet soul is currently very frightened and in need of TLC. When you enter her kennel, she trembles like a leaf and quietly hides in the back, often lifting a tiny paw in bewilderment.

Acorn is looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home where she can feel safe and loved. She will need at least one kind and confident resident dog to be her friend and help her find her feet in this unfamiliar world. Having never lived in a home before, everything is new to her, so her adopters will need to be understanding and patient as she learns about home life and gains confidence. She will need to learn about house training and how to walk on a lead - both of which will take time and lots of positive encouragement.

With consistent love, reassurance, and a peaceful environment, we truly believe Acorn has the potential to blossom into the most wonderful little companion.

This tiny girl has never had a chance to feel safe, but with the right home, we know her story can have a very happy ending. Could you be the one to help Acorn take her first steps into a brighter future?

She has arrived with quite a lot of teeth missing and so would benefit from a soft food diet going forward.
