  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet, adult only home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me settle in and I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks just yet and will find this a bit overwhelming at the moment.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I have been spayed and am ready for my forever home!

04-05-25 Arctic has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. At the moment, she’s very frightened and she will retreat to the back of her kennel and shake like a leaf when approached.

Arctic is looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home with adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help her settle in and show her that life can be safe and full of love.

She has never lived in a home before, so everything will be new to her and her adopters will need to be patient and understanding as she learns about home life and begins to pick up new skills like house training. She will also need to learn all about walking on a lead and will need to practice first around the home and garden as she gains confidence.

With time, love, and gentle reassurance, we believe she can blossom into a loving companion. If you have a peaceful home and a heart big enough to help her on her journey, Arctic could be the one who needs you most.

Arctic has an enlarged mammary lump which our vets will be assessing, and she has some fur loss which we hope will begin to improve and grow back after her spay.

Arctic has been given the Gift of Life by Laura Woods
