08-05-25 Autumn is a timid and delicate girl who has come to us from a breeder. Right now, she’s feeling completely overwhelmed and confused by the world around her. She's a very scared girl who doesn’t yet understand that she is safe, and her instinct is to run and hide.
Though frightened, Autumn is easy to handle once gently held. She is a girl who desperately needs time, patience, and quiet understanding to help her begin to trust.
Autumn will need a calm, quiet, adult only home with adopters who ideally have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs. She relies heavily on other dogs for reassurance, so it is essential that she has at least one kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help guide her as she adjusts to life as a beloved pet.
She has never lived in a home before, so she will need gentle encouragement and kindness as she learns about house training and family life. Autumn has also never walked on a lead, so will need to start slowly in a secure garden until her confidence begins to grow.
With patience, routine, and the steady companionship of a friendly dog, we hope Autumn’s world will gradually open up and she’ll discover the joys of being safe, loved, and truly home.
She has arrived with very dirty ears which will require cleaning regularly.
