Buckley is a sweet, happy little lad who came to us from a breeder, unsure of the world but full of potential, and what a joy he’s turning out to be. Now three weeks into foster care, Buckley has started to blossom and show us just what a special boy he really is.

He’s settled beautifully into home life, sleeping soundly downstairs with the other dogs and enjoying the comfort and routine of family living. Buckley absolutely adores his walks, travels well in the car, and plays happily with the other Beagles in his foster home. He loves his food and treats, which has made training a fun and rewarding experience.

Though he once needed the support of another dog, Buckley has grown in confidence and could now be homed as an only dog in the right, Beagle-savvy home, especially one where he won’t be left alone for long. He thrives on companionship and affection, and truly loves a fuss.

Like many Beagles, Buckley has a curious nature and would benefit from a secure garden, as he’s always keen when a door or gate is left open. He’s also a bit protective over his beloved bed and some toys, often dragging them about with pride—, t's all part of his quirky charm.

Buckley has come a long way in such a short time and is ready to take the next step on his journey. With patience, love, and understanding, this cheerful boy will make the most wonderful companion. He’s so deserving of a home to call his own could that be with you?

Buckley's Diary

Buckley has been in foster for 3 weeks now and has settled well into home life. He sleeps all night downstairs with the other dogs.
He loves his walks and travels well in the car. He plays with the other beagles here and loves his food and treats.
He is confident enough to go as an only dog and can be quite protective over his bed that he likes to drag around and some toys. He loves a fuss and is very friendly.
He would need a secure garden as he does like to go out and is always keen when the gate or door is open. He really deserves a home of his own.
Buckley is a sweet and happy little lad who has come to us from a breeder to begin his search for a forever home. He’s an absolute delight to be around. He is cheerful, friendly and so very sweet. With his waggy tail and kind eyes, Buckley is sure to steal your heart the moment you meet him!
Buckley absolutely adores other dogs and would be very happy to be homed with a kind canine companion. However, in the right circumstances, we would consider homing Buckley as an only dog, as long as his adopters are Beagle savvy and have plenty of time to spend with him. He thrives on companionship and won’t want to be left alone for long periods.
Buckley has never lived in a home before, so his adopters will need to be kind, patient, and understanding as he learns all about house training and the joys of family life. He can walk on a lead and will really enjoy getting out and about for lovely walks with his new family - especially if there are treats involved! Buckley loves his food, and it’s definitely the way to his heart.
