Africa

11-05-25 Africa has come to us from a breeder to begin her new life. Right now, she is a very frightened and overwhelmed little soul who finds the world a very big and scary place. Being here at the rescue is a huge change for her and she is quite worried about being handled and doesn't yet realise human hands can be kind.
Africa will need a calm and quiet, adult only home where she can take things at her own pace. She would be best suited to adopters with experience of ex-breeding dogs who can offer her the patience, time and compassion she needs to build trust.
This sweet girl relies heavily on the company of other dogs for reassurance and will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in her new home to guide her, help her feel safe and allow her to snuggle up to them.
Africa has never lived in a home before, so she will need to learn all about home life including new skills like house training. She doesn’t yet walk on a lead or harness, so she'll need gentle practice in a secure garden as she gains confidence.
With love and patience, her adopters will see her blossom into the dog she was always meant to be. Could you be the one to help her start that journey?
Africa has had 5 teeth extracted at the time of her spay.
