Nicky

17-05-25 This lovely boy is Nicky and he has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. He is a very handsome boy with the sweetest expression, though he is currently a little overwhelmed by all of the changes in his life. Understandably timid, Nicky is still finding his paws, but with gentle reassurance, time, and love, we think his personality will start to shine through soon.
Nicky is already showing us glimpses of the affectionate boy he is inside and he especially enjoys a soft head scratch and will quietly lean in for more. What he needs now is a calm and quiet home where he can continue to gain confidence at his own pace. He will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in his new home who will be his friend and help him to settle in.
As Nicky has never lived in a home before, everything will be new to him. His adopters will need to be kind, patient, and prepared to help him learn all about home life and new skills like house training and learning to walk on a lead.
Watching a dog like Nicky blossom is a truly special experience and whoever welcomes him into their home will be giving him the fresh start he so deserves. Could you be the one to offer Nicky the safe and loving home he’s been waiting for?
He has arrived here with some signs of lameness in his left hind leg, which our vet thinks could be due to an old injury, this doesn't cause him any issues at the moment but his adopters would need to be aware that should he need treatment in the future it would not be covered by insurance. Nicky also has an undershot jaw, which just adds to his charm and has arrived with some scabs on his nose and ears, which should clear up soon. He has a travel document.
