  • Human family requirements

I can live with dog-savvy teens who can understand my energy and needs!

  • Other pet requirements

I can be an only dog, or live with a kind resident dog. I haven't met cats!

  • House and garden requirements

I am a big boy, so would love a garden to accommodate for my size!

  • Out and about requirements

I’d enjoy one or two quiet walks a day once I am settled and plenty of cuddle time.

  • Training needs

I walk on lead but may need help mastering house training.

  • Medical issues

I will be neutered before going to my forever home!

21-05-25 Gage is a big-hearted, gentle giant who has come to us from a breeder. This handsome Great Dane is every large-breed lover’s dream! He is happy-go-lucky, friendly, and full of love to give. He’s a soft soul with a heart of gold and just needs a little time and patience to truly shine.

Though generally cheerful, Gage can be a little timid at times and may flinch if movements are too sudden. For this reason, a calm, understanding home where things are taken at his pace would be ideal. With gentle handling and kindness, Gage will blossom into the most loyal and affectionate companion.

He gets along beautifully with other dogs, both male and female, and would be very happy in a home with canine friends. In fact, we think he may prefer the company of another dog to help build his confidence. That said, he could also be an only dog in the right home, ideally one with experience of large breeds and rescue dogs. He does walk on a lead but will need his adopters to be kind as he learns house training.

Gage could live with dog-savvy teenagers who understand that he may need time to adjust and who can cope with the occasional enthusiastic jump! He’s a very tall boy, so older children who are confident and steady around dogs would be best.

This lovely boy is ready to find a home where he can feel safe, loved, and part of the family. He truly is the sweetest lad, and in the right environment, he will absolutely thrive.

Gage has a travel document.
