Wolfie

Wolfie is a truly stunning young lad who originally came to us from a home through no fault of his own, it was just not the right fit and Wolfie required more attention and stimulation then they were able to provide. Upon coming to us, Wolfie immediately found himself in foster, where he is currently flourishing. With his soft nature and soulful eyes, he’s a real heart-stealer just waiting for the right person to help him shine.
This clever, energetic boy is still finding his feet in the world. He can be nervous around new people and is easily startled, especially by young children, so he’s looking for a calm, understanding home where patience and kindness are in abundance. Once he begins to trust, Wolfie shows his sweet, affectionate side and will happily climb into your lap for a cuddle.
He is currently living with three dogs in foster and gets on brilliantly with them. While he has lived as an only dog before, we feel Wolfie would really benefit from the presence of a confident, kind resident dog to help guide him and continue building his trust. He’s not been fazed by traffic when he is out and about and has even been cat-tested, showing no interest at all, though as always, careful introductions would be key. So he could be homed with cat-savvy dogs who respect his space.
Wolfie is still learning the basics, as he isn’t housetrained yet and is working on his manners. He walks on a lead and does pull a little, but he’s responsive to gentle correction and enjoys his walks. He travels very well in the car and will hop in and out quite happily.
One of his absolute favourite things is playing with a ball! His playful side really comes out when he’s having fun! Because of his energy and intelligence, Wolfie would thrive in an active home with a secure garden where he can stretch his legs, play, and continue his training.
This lovely boy has so much potential. With time, reassurance, and love, Wolfie is going to make the most wonderful companion.
