23-05-25 This very special and handsome boy is Finn. Finn has sadly found himself back at the rescue through no fault of his own, after a change in circumstances meant his owner could no longer look after him. Finn originally came to us as an 8 week old puppy, arriving alongside his little Yorkie mum back in 2017. It’s almost impossible to believe he’s part Yorkie, but we remember him well, and our hearts are breaking to see him here again.

Finn is utterly overwhelmed to find himself in kennels and is really struggling to cope. He won’t eat properly. He doesn’t want to play. He simply wants to curl up beside a human for safety and comfort. It’s clear he’s very subdued, and we are desperate to see him back in a home where he can begin to feel loved and secure again and have a sparkle in his eyes once more.

Finn can be quite shy when he first meets you, but is such a sweet boy. He is described as a gentle, quiet soul who walks beautifully on a lead and prefers peaceful walks away from busy areas, which can make him feel a little anxious. He previously lived happily with a cat so could live with a dog savvy cat. He is said to be good with children and so could be homed with older, dog savvy children who would allow him the time he needs to settle in.

Finn has lived with other dogs previously, but we think he would prefer to be an only dog in his new home, where he can get all the love and attention for himself. He can sometimes be anxious meeting other dogs on walks but does generally get along with other dogs.

He would thrive in a calm, quiet home with patient adopters who will give him all the love and reassurance he needs to heal. Somewhere without too much hustle and bustle, where he can settle in and relax.

Finn has been deeply loved, and it shows. He’s not just looking for a home, he’s looking for a family who will give him their entire hearts and who will help him mend his.

If you can offer this special boy the peaceful forever home he longs for, please don't leave him waiting.
