Sweet Asha is a beautiful young girl who originally came to us from a breeder. She was adopted into a loving home, but through no fault of her own, has found herself back in our care. She was living with another dog who underwent surgery, and although Asha meant no harm, her playful and assertive energy proved a bit too much during recovery. Her adopters made the difficult decision to return her to ensure the best outcome for both dogs.

Asha’s previous adopters had only lovely things to say about her. She’s a quick learner, very affectionate, and gently takes treats, even if she’s a little picky about which ones! She had just one accident indoors and quickly learned to ask when she needed to go out. She travels well, isn’t bothered by household noises, and enjoys relaxing in the garden, especially in a sunny spot.

While Asha previously lived alongside another dog, it's become clear that she thrives best as the only dog in the home. She loves human companionship and truly shines when she has all the attention to herself. She wants to be near her people, loves a cuddle on the sofa, and enjoys having her own space without having to share.

Asha is currently being treated for sore ears, and she’s developing a cataract in one eye, so her future family will need to be mindful of her ongoing care needs. These challenges don’t slow her down, but a gentle and understanding home will help her continue to feel safe and supported.

She would be best suited to a calm, patient household with children aged 10 and up. Asha is a sweet, sensitive girl who just wants a quiet life full of love, kindness, and snuggles.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will soak up your affection and give it right back, Asha could be the perfect match. She’s ready to be someone’s everything and she deserves nothing less.

Asha's Diary

  • Asha was sadly returned after a short adoption through no fault of her own. She was rehomed alongside another dog who had just had surgery, and her assertive energy was a bit too much during the recovery period.

Her adopters said she’s a quick learner, had only one accident in the house, travels well in the car, and absolutely loves other dogs. She’s affectionate, gentle, and finds comfort in the company of other dogs. Asha is currently being treated for sore ears and is developing a cataract in her right eye, but this doesn’t stop her from being a sweet and loving companion. She would love a home with another friendly dog and can live with children aged 10+.

  • Darling Asha is a sweet-natured soul with a heart as soft as her fur. This beautiful girl has come to us from a breeder, and despite the hardships of her past, she is blossoming into the most affectionate companion. Asha is incredibly people-oriented and would shower you with love if given the chance. She has so much affection to give and is just waiting for the right person or family to share it with.

She already walks beautifully on a lead and would be happy in a home either as an only dog or with canine companions. She’s currently sharing her kennel space with other dogs and gets along with them wonderfully, she is polite, friendly, and enjoys their company.

Asha could live with dog-savvy children aged 10 and up, who understand the need for patience and calm as she adjusts to a home environment. Having spent her early life as a breeding dog, everyday household experiences like the hoover or microwave might be new to her, so she’ll need a gentle, understanding family to help her build confidence. She will need her adopters to be kind as she learns what it means to be part of a home, including how to be house clean and will thrive with positive reinforcement, kindness, and lots of love. With time and patience, Asha will make the most loyal and loving friend. This golden girl truly deserves more than life in kennels.

Asha is developing cataracts in her right eye and is also being treated for sore ears.
