26-05-25 Alfie is a bright, boisterous, and affectionate young dog with a real zest for life. He originally came to us as a very young pup from a breeder as an unsold puppy and was adopted for a short while, but sadly returned through no fault of his own. Despite the upheaval, Alfie’s spirit remains unshaken. He’s a loving little soul bursting with energy and potential.
Since arriving, Alfie found himself immediately in foster and he’s proving to be a gentle, affectionate boy who’s clearly grateful to be back around people. He’s living with children in the home and could be happily rehomed with respectful, dog-savvy kids. Alfie also paid no attention to the resident pet bird and could potentially live with other dog-savvy animals, including confident cats. He’s sleeping well through the night and hasn’t had any accidents in the house, thanks in part to his foster’s attentive routine of regular outdoor breaks every 45 minutes. He’s already learned to sit and is showing just how clever and eager to please he is.
While Alfie lived as an only dog in his previous home, we believe he would benefit from having another friendly dog to play with and learn from. He enjoys canine companionship and would likely thrive with a four-legged playmate by his side.
Alfie is looking for an active, loving home where he can continue to grow into the wonderful dog we know he’s meant to be. With the right support, patience, and commitment, this fun-loving boy will make an incredibly rewarding companion.
