  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet, adult only home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks just yet and will find this a bit overwhelming at the moment.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I will be spayed before finding my forever home.

28-05-25 Janice is a sweet little girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. Right now, she is quite shut down and overwhelmed by all the changes in her world. She isn’t used to being handled and will run away when approached. However, with time, patience, and a gentle touch, she has begun to show signs of relaxing and even starts to enjoy a gentle fuss once she gets to know you.

Janice will need a calm and quiet adult only home with kind adopters who will let her settle in at her own pace. She will thrive in an environment where there is no pressure, only love and understanding.

Having at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home will be essential, as Janice takes great comfort from other dogs and they will help her learn that humans can be kind.

As she has never lived in a home before, everything will be new to her. Her adopters will need to help her gently adjust to home life, including learning all about house training. She will also need to learn to walk on a lead, starting with short, positive sessions in the garden until she feels ready to explore more.

Janice is a special girl who just needs time and love to help her blossom. If you have a peaceful home, a kind resident dog, and the heart to help a shy dog feel safe and cherished, Janice could be the one for you.
