  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet, adult only home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks just yet and will find this a bit overwhelming at the moment.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I have infected eyes which are being treated and my lip folds require cleaning.

28-05-25 June is a very worried girl who has come to us from a breeder in search of her forever home. She is feeling completely overwhelmed by her new surroundings and will run away when approached, as she’s still learning that people can be kind.

June will need a calm and quiet adult only home with adopters who are patient, gentle, and ideally have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs. She will need time, space, and understanding as she learns to trust and begins to adjust to her new life.

June will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home. She will take comfort and guidance from a canine friend who can show her the ropes and help her build her confidence day by day.

June has never lived in a home before, so everything will be new and possibly frightening at first. She will need kind encouragement as she learns new skills like house training and gets used to the daily routines of home life. She also hasn’t walked on a lead yet, so her adopters will need to help her practice gently in the garden before venturing further.

With love, patience, and the right home, we know June will start to feel safe and show the gentle, loving soul hidden beneath her fear. If you think you can offer June the peaceful and nurturing home she needs, please don't leave her waiting.

June has arrived with sore and infected eyes, which are currently being treated by our vet. She also requires regular cleaning of her lip folds.

June has been given the Gift of Life by Susan Stacey
