I need a calm and quiet, adult only home where I can settle in at my own pace.

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I am too scared to go out for walks right now and will need a gentle introduction.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I will be spayed before finding my forever home.

30-05-25 Topps has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is an extremely worried and shut down girl at the moment who is finding everything very overwhelming. She is very frightened of being handled, as she doesn’t yet understand that human hands can be gentle and loving.

Topps is looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home with experienced adopters who understand the needs of scared ex-breeding dogs. She will need lots of patience, time and understanding to help her slowly come out of her shell.

She must have at least one kind and confident resident dog in her new home who can be her friend and take her under their wing. This will play a vital role in helping Topps build confidence and settle in to life in a loving home.

Topps has never lived in a home before, and she will likely find this new environment very overwhelming at first. She will need gentle support and encouragement as she begins to learn about house training, and her adopters will need to take things at her pace.

She does not yet walk on a lead and will need to start slowly, practicing in a secure garden once she is ready. Because of how fearful she currently is, a secure garden is essential for her safety and confidence building.

Topps has a long journey ahead of her, but with the right family, she has the potential to transform into a happy and content dog. If you have the time, love, and experience to help her on this journey, please consider offering Topps the second chance she so desperately deserves.
