Teddy

30-05-25 Teddy has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is a very frightened and overwhelmed girl and at the moment, she prefers to stay quietly in a corner, trembling with fear, unsure of the world around her.
Teddy is in desperate need of a calm and quiet, adult only home with experienced adopters who understand the needs of scared ex-breeding dogs. She will take time to trust and will need someone with plenty of patience, kindness, and understanding to help her slowly come out of her shell.
It is essential that Teddy’s new home has at least one other kind and confident resident dog who can take her under their wing. A friendly companion will help her feel safer and more secure as she learns how to be a much loved pet.
As Teddy has never lived in a home before, she will need gentle support to help her settle in and learn all about new skills like house training. Everything will be new and possibly scary for her at first, so adopters must be willing to go at her pace and celebrate the little milestones.
She does not yet walk on a lead and will need to begin learning in a secure garden where she can practice safely and build her confidence over time.
Teddy has a long journey ahead of her, but with the right family, she has every chance of learning that life can be full of love, comfort, and happiness. If you think you could offer Teddy the safe and understanding home she needs, please consider opening your heart to this precious girl.
Teddy has arrived a little overweight but with gentle exercise and good nutrition she should start to shed the excess.
