Jacket is a beautiful girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. True to her breed, she is friendly, gentle, confident, and very food-motivated, all the classic traits that make Labradors such beloved companions and Jacket the perfect package!

This lovely girl is already showing us just how ready she is to embrace home life. She walks well on a lead and is full of enthusiasm for the world around her. While she is a sweet soul with confident traits, we feel she would love a kind and steady resident dog in her new home, someone to offer support and help her adjust to the routines and comforts of family life.

Having never lived in a home before, Jacket may need a little help with house training and getting used to the new sights, sounds, and expectations of indoor life. With patience and gentle guidance, we have no doubt she will settle beautifully.

Jacket adores a tennis ball and will happily trade one ball for another just to keep the game going. Her playful nature and eagerness to please make her a real delight to be around.

Jacket would love an active home where she can join in on adventures, enjoy plenty of outdoor time, and then settle down for cuddles with her people. She is a joyful, affectionate girl who is ready to give her whole heart to a loving family.

On arrival with us, it was noted that Jacket could not extend her left hip fully, she has seen our vet who thought she may have some level of lameness on the right hind limb and hip deformity. She was referred for an x-ray which shows she has hip dysplasia on both sides. At the moment this is managed with anti-inflammatories, but should this degenerate further in the future she may require further treatment and/or surgery to help her, which would not be covered by insurance.
