Janey

31-05-25 Janey has come to us from a breeder to find the loving forever home she has always deserved. Right now, she is completely overwhelmed and heart-breakingly worried. Everything is new and unfamiliar, and she’s struggling to make sense of the world around her.
Janey is very scared of being touched and handled and it's clear she hasn’t had much human contact in her life so far. Despite her deep fears, Janey is an incredibly gentle girl with a soft and sensitive soul. She just needs time, kindness, and lots of TLC to begin her journey of learning that people can be kind and that life can be safe.
Janey is looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home with adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs. She must have at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help her settle, offer comfort, and gently guide her as she starts to find her paws in a home environment.
Having never lived in a home before, Jane will need patient support to learn about house training and home life and might find it very overwhelming at first. She has also never walked on a lead, and this is something that will need to be introduced slowly and gently, at her own pace, starting in a secure garden when she is ready.
Janey needs a special someone with a big heart and lots of love to give. Someone who can see past her fear and believe in the beautiful, brave girl we know she will one day become. If you can offer her the gentle and experienced home she needs then Jane is waiting for her second chance.
She has some hormonal alopecia at the moment but once she has been spayed this should start to grow back.
