Juniper

31-05-25 Juniper is a very gentle but deeply worried little soul who has come to us from a breeder in search of her forever home. Right now, everything feels scary and overwhelming to her, and her instinct is to run away when people approach. It’s clear that human kindness is something very new to her.
Once gently scooped up and held, Juniper does begin to settle in your arms after a little while. She simply doesn’t know yet that she’s safe, and she so desperately needs someone with the patience and love to help her learn that the world and the people in it can be kind.
Juniper will need a calm and quiet, adult only home where she can settle at her own pace. She would benefit greatly from adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs and understand the gentle, consistent care they need to thrive. She must have a kind and confident resident dog in her new home who can take her under their wing and help her build confidence as she adjusts to her new life.
Having never lived in a home before, Juniper will need to learn all about house training and home life. These things may seem daunting to her at first, so her new family must be patient, understanding, and ready to support her every step of the way. She also doesn't yet know how to walk on a lead and once she is feeling braver she will need to practice in a secure garden to gain confidence.
With love, time, and gentle encouragement, Juniper has the potential to blossom into the most loyal and loving companion. If you can offer her the peaceful, supportive home she needs, please don't leave her waiting.
