Jibe

31-05-25 Jibe has come to us from a breeder and is currently a very frightened and overwhelmed little girl. Right now, the world feels like a very big and scary place to her. She is incredibly skittish and flighty, and her first instinct is to run away from people. It’s clear that Jibe hasn’t had much positive human interaction, and everything is new and daunting for her.
Despite her fear, there’s a gentle soul underneath who just needs time, patience, and kindness to begin to trust. Jibe is looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home with adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs and understand the slow, steady journey she’ll need to take as she learns how to feel safe.
She will need to have at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home. A canine companion will be essential to help her settle in and gain confidence and reassurance from.
Jibe has never lived in a home before, so she will need support with learning new skills like house training. She does not yet walk on a lead and will need gentle practice in a secure garden when she is ready. Her adopters must ensure she has a very safe, escape-proof environment while she settles in, as she is quite flighty.
For the right adopter, helping a dog like Jibe learn to trust and discover the joys of home life is one of the most rewarding journeys imaginable. If you have the experience, patience, and love to help this girl bloom, please consider giving her the second chance she so deserves.
Jibe is currently a little overweight, but with gentle exercise and a healthy diet, we’re confident she will begin to shed the excess weight.
