31-05-25 Toucan has come to us from a breeder to find the gentle, understanding forever home she so deserves. Right now, she is a very scared and overwhelmed little girl who is overwhelmed to find herself here. The world feels like a very big and frightening place to her, and she’s looking for someone with a kind heart to help her take her first steps towards a brighter future.
Toucan is looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home with adopters who have experience of scared ex-breeding dogs. She will need a patient and understanding family who can offer her the time, space, and gentle encouragement she needs to begin to feel safe and loved.
She will need a home where there is at least one other kind and confident resident dog to take her under their wing. A canine companion will be vital in helping Toucan build confidence, showing her how to enjoy home life, and providing the reassurance she needs as she starts to settle in.
Toucan has never lived in a home before, so everything will be very new and strange to her. She will need support with house training and settling in to home life. She will also need to learn how to walk on a lead by practicing in a secure garden when she is ready.
With patience, consistency, and lots of love, Toucan has every chance to blossom into a beautiful, loyal companion. If you think you can offer her the experienced and gentle home she needs, please don't leave her waiting.
