31-05-25 Joke has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. Right now she is a very scared and shut down little girl. She is completely overwhelmed as everything is new and unfamiliar.

Despite her fear, there is a sweet and gentle soul hiding beneath her worry. She desperately needs a calm and quiet, adult only home with adopters who have experience of scared ex-breeding dogs and truly understand the patience, compassion, and time it takes for a dog like Joke to begin to heal.

Joke will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home who can help guide her and offer comfort and reassurance. A canine friend will play a key role in helping her learn that life can be safe and full of good things.

Joke has never lived in a home before, so she’ll need gentle support as she learns all about house training and adjusts home life. She doesn’t yet walk on a lead and will need to begin practicing in the safety of a secure garden once she’s feeling a little braver.
