  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet, adult only home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks just yet and will find this a bit overwhelming at the moment.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I will be spayed before finding my forever home.

31-05-25 Journey has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is currently a shy and scared little girl who is feeling very overwhelmed by all the changes in her life. Everything is new and unfamiliar, and it’s clear she hasn’t experienced much of the world beyond the life she’s known so far.

Despite her fear, Journey is already showing little glimmers of curiosity and is quietly watching the world around her and beginning to take small steps towards engaging. With time, love, and gentle encouragement, we believe she will slowly come out of her shell and begin to blossom into the beautiful girl she is meant to be.

Journey will need a calm and quiet, adult only home with adopters who have experience of scared ex-breeding dogs. She must have at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home who can be her role model and help her feel safe as she adjusts to her new life.

As Journey has never lived in a home before, she will need patient guidance as she learns about house training and settles into a family environment. She doesn’t yet walk on a lead and will need to begin practicing slowly and gently in a secure garden when she is ready.

Journey is at the beginning of her new life, and although she has a way to go, she has already shown the first signs of hope. With the right support, she will grow into the most loyal and gentle companion.
