01-06-25 Yaffle is a very frightened boy who has come to us from a breeder in the hope of finding a kind and understanding forever home. The world is a very overwhelming place for Yaffle right now and he is in desperate need of love and TLC. He is extremely nervous and will run away from you out of fear. He isn't used to being handled and is very worried about this at the moment, it’s clear that he hasn't experienced kind hands and gentle words before.

Yaffle will need a calm and quiet, adult only home with adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs and who understand that progress takes time. His adopters will need to take things slowly and everything will need to go at his pace as he starts to settle in.

It's essential that Yaffle has at least one other kind and confident resident dog in his new home to take him under their wing and help him adjust to his new life. He takes great comfort from other dogs and will look to them for comfort, guidance, and reassurance.

Yaffle has never lived in a home before, and this will likely be a worrying adjustment for him. He will need time to settle and gentle encouragement as he learns all about house training and home life. Because he can be flighty and easily spooked, a secure garden is a must, not only for his safety but also to give him a calm space to explore when he’s ready. At the moment, Yaffle doesn’t walk on a lead, and this is something that will need to be slowly introduced in the safety of the garden when he begins to feel a little braver.

This gentle boy has a long journey ahead of him, but we know that the right family is out there. He will need someone with the time, love, and patience to help him grow in confidence and show him that the world can be a kind and safe place.
