I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I am too scared to go out for walks right now and will need gentle introduction.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I am a little underweight at the moment so will need good nutrition to fill out.

01-06-25 Yager is a very scared little girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. Right now, she is feeling completely overwhelmed by her new surroundings and unsure of the world around her. She isn’t brave enough to approach us, but if you sit quietly and patiently, you’ll see her little head peep up as she looks at you curiously from a distance. Yager finds handling very worrying at the moment and clearly hasn't experienced kind hands before.

Yager is looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home with adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs and truly understand how to let a shy soul like her come out of her shell in her own time. She finds great comfort in her kennel friends and is often seen snuggled up close to them, relying on them for reassurance. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home who can take her under their wing and offer her the reassurance she desperately craves.

Yager has never lived in a home before, so everything about home life will be completely new and likely quite worrying for her at first. She will need a kind and patient family to help her settle and learn new skills like house training about house training.

She has never walked on a lead, so will need to begin with gentle practice in a secure garden once she’s feeling a little braver. As Yager is easily spooked, a secure garden is essential for her safety.

Yager is a delicate and sensitive soul, but with lots of love, gentle care, and TLC, her sweet personality will begin to shine through. If you can offer Yager the understanding and support she needs, please consider welcoming her into your heart and home. She’s a very special little girl, and with time, she’ll be a truly precious companion.

Yager is a little underweight at the moment, but with time, love, and proper nutrition, she will begin to fill out and flourish.
