01-06-25 Taco is a very sweet girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. Understandably, she’s feeling quite worried and overwhelmed by all the changes in her life, but despite her nerves, Taco is a gentle and easy to handle little lady.

She may be shy now, but with plenty of TLC, patience, and a calm, quiet environment, Taco will start to come out of her shell and blossom. Taco will need a calm and quiet home, where her adopters understand the needs of nervous dogs and are committed to helping her feel safe.

She will be looking for a home where there is at least one other kind and confident resident dog, who will be her friend and help show her the ropes. A gentle canine companion will give her comfort and help her learn that the world isn't so scary after all.

She has never lived in a home before, so everything from the TV to the sound of the kettle may be new and strange to her at first. She will need support as she learns about house training and how to walk on a lead, first starting with gentle sessions in the garden until she builds up her confidence.

She is a little overweight at the moment but with gentle exercise and a good diet she should soon start to shed the excess.
