01-06-25 Topanga is a beautiful and gentle girl who has come to us from a breeder to begin her journey toward the loving forever home she so deserves. Right now, she’s feeling a little overwhelmed by her new surroundings, but this sweet soul is trying so hard to be brave.

Although she isn’t quite confident enough to approach for fusses just yet, she’s happy to see you and watches with hopeful eyes. Her brave spirit shines through, and with the right home, she’ll soon start to take those first steps toward building a bond.

Topanga is looking for a calm and quiet home, with adopters who understand nervous ex-breeding dogs and can give her all the time, patience, and gentle encouragement she needs. She must be homed with another kind and confident resident dog, who will help her feel safe and show her how wonderful her new life can be.

She has never lived in a home before, so her adopters will need to help her learn about home life and hose training. Topanga has also never walked on a lead, so she’ll need to start with short, positive sessions in the garden as she builds her confidence.

With kindness, patience, and the companionship of a friendly dog, Topanga’s transformation will be a truly special one to witness. Could you be the one to help this brave little girl find her wings?

Topanga arrived with a very inflamed ear, which is currently being treated, and she also has some scars on her face - quiet reminders of a past that we can’t undo, but one that she’ll leave behind with the love and care she’s now receiving.
