29-05-25 Meet Jersey, a truly lovely Beagle boy who has come to us from a breeder in search of his forever home. Jersey is an absolute sweetheart who is so full of potential. Like many Beagles, he’s curious, intelligent, and has a real zest for life once he feels safe and settled.

At first, Jersey can be quite nervous, especially when he’s on his own, but the moment he’s with his kennel friends, he lights up! Around other dogs, he blossoms into the lively and playful boy we know he can be. Because of this, Jersey will need another kind and confident resident dog in his new home who can be his companion and help guide him as he gains confidence and learns about the world.

Jersey has never lived in a home before, so his adopters will need to be patient and understanding as he adjusts to all the new sights, sounds and routines of family life. He will need support with things like house training, learning to walk on a lead, and gaining confidence with everyday experiences. In time, and with gentle encouragement, we’re sure he will thrive.

Although he doesn't yet walk on a lead, Jersey would love an active home where he can enjoy lovely walks, playtime, and enrichment to keep both his clever mind and energetic body busy.

We would consider homing Jersey with dog savvy teenagers who understand he will need time to settle and space when he feels unsure.
