Rudy

05-06-25 Rudy is an adorable little guy who came to us from a breeder after a bit of a rough start. He was originally sold to a family but was diagnosed with megaesophagus, so he was returned to the breeder and then was recently brought into our care.
Megaesophagus is a condition where the esophagus (the tube that carries food to the stomach) becomes enlarged and has trouble moving food properly. It can be managed with careful, upright feeding and close attention to his eating routine. Rudy will also need consistent check-ups to ensure he remains a happy and healthy pup. As this has been diagnosed, anything related to his diagnosis in the future will not be covered by insurance.
Despite his diagnosis, Rudy is a sweet, lively little boy who doesn’t let anything slow him down! He’ll make a wonderful companion for a lucky family. He’s young enough to live with children and cats, as long as they’re dog-friendly and don’t mind a playful, boisterous pup bouncing around the house.
Rudy will need to be castrated when he’s old enough and should attend puppy socialisation classes to help him grow into a confident and well-mannered adult.
