06-06-25 Lovely Queenie originally came to us in 2022 from a breeder. She was adopted and found a wonderful home, but sadly due to a change in her adopter’s circumstances, Queenie has returned to us through no fault of her own. She has gone straight into a foster home where she is settling in beautifully.

Queenie is an absolute sweetheart, who is so very sweet. She’s used to home life and is house trained, although she may need a few gentle reminders as she settles into her new home, and loves to sleep on your bed with you at night. She walks nicely on a lead and enjoys her outings, especially if there's a good sniff to be had along the way!

Queenie is confident enough to be homed as an only dog, provided her adopters are around most of the time to keep her company, but she also really enjoys the company of other dogs and could happily live with kind, friendly canine companions. In her previous home, she lived with house rabbits and has also been around cats with no issues. She loves children and could be homed with dog savvy older children.

Queenie has a Grade 1 heart murmur which doesn't currently require medication, but will need to be monitored by her new vet. She also suffers from itchy skin which is being managed well with regular baths and a grain free diet. She has a few small lumps, which her previous vet has confirmed are lipomas (benign fatty lumps). These are not causing her any problems and, due to her age, we have chosen to leave them be.

This lovely girl has so much love to give and really deserves to find the most perfect retirement home. If you think you can offer Queenie the love, time, and companionship she deserves, please don't leave her waiting.
