POPPY NEEDS TO BE HOMED WITH GEORGE

07-07-25 Sweet Poppy has come to us with her best friend George after their beloved owner sadly passed away. These two beautiful souls are heartbroken to have lost their owner and it's clear just how loved and cherished they have been. Poppy and George adore each other and so it's essential that they are homed together so they can have comfort in each other.

Poppy is a lovely girl who likes to enjoy life at her own pace. She enjoys a fuss and attention but is also happy to hang out by herself or with her best friend George. Poppy much prefers to live a slower life and loves to spend her days sitting on the sofa and prefers to sleep most of the day away, although would enjoy a gentle stroll.

Poppy is house trained, walks well on a lead and is sociable with other dogs. However, she cannot live with cats as she has a bit too much interest in chasing them!

Poppy is good with children and though she would likely prefer a calm and quiet home, visiting children would be fine. What she and George need most is a loving home where they can feel safe, cherished, and part of a family again.

Poppy and George have had their world turned upside down and they are longing to feel secure and loved once more. If you have a heart big enough for two, they will repay you tenfold with love, loyalty, and endless tail wags.

Poppy has some lumps and bumps which our vets have assessed but have advised no action is needed due to her age.

Can live with other dogs

This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
