JOEY IS LOOKING FOR A HOME WITH MOLLY

17-06-25 Joey has arrived at Many Tears with his best friend Molly after a heartbreaking change in their family’s circumstances. Through no fault of their own, they were surrendered due to a child in the home developing allergies. This gorgeous pair have done everything together and share a deep bond, so we are hoping they can continue their journey side by side.

Joey is a big, handsome boy with a huge heart and an even bigger love of food! He has come to us a little overweight, but with a healthy diet and an active, loving home, he should soon be back to his ideal shape. He’s currently being treated for sore, gunky ears, but this doesn’t dampen his happy spirit one bit.

He walks beautifully on a lead and is a friendly, affectionate soul who thrives on attention and companionship. Joey could live with dog-savvy children, though potential adopters should be aware that he has occasionally had accidents in the home, so some continued house training may be needed. His previous owners also told us he can become a little destructive when left alone for long periods, so he’ll do best in a home where he isn’t left too often and where he has plenty of outdoor time, enrichment and company.

Joey is used to the comfort and security of a loving home, and we’re hoping it won’t be long before he finds that again, with Molly by his side and a family to call his own.
