19-06-25 Jax is a spirited little guy who originally came to us from a breeder. He was adopted for a while, but sadly returned after displaying some behaviours in the home that we hadn’t seen in the rescue environment.

According to his previous adopters, Jax is a sweet boy who loves attention and adores his toys. He doesn’t mind being groomed or having his nails clipped, and he sleeps soundly in his crate through the night.

Jax can be a bit nervous around new people, especially men, but once he warms up to you, he’s incredibly affectionate. He loves being part of everything that’s going on, so be prepared to have a little shadow following you around! Jax would prefer to be the only dog in the home as he can get a bit spooked by other dogs, and we believe he would love to have all of the attention on him.

He’s a clever pup who knows commands like sit, lie down, wait, leave it, and out (to go outside). He is also a master at walking on a lead and house training, although he may have a few understandable accidents as he settles.

Jax has shown some guarding behaviours over things he considers important, so his future adopters will need to be mindful and confident in managing this.

Jax is an absolute gem here at the rescue, good as gold! And now that he’s had a taste of home life, he truly deserves to be back on a cosy couch, right where he belongs.
