19-06-25 Solo is a wonderful girl who’s had an unfortunate start to life, yet remains sweet, gentle, and eager to please. She came to us from a home where she wasn’t allowed indoors due to her moulting, and as a result, she was left outside in all weather conditions. This neglect has left her underweight and suffering from dermatitis and hot spots caused by lying on hard ground.

Despite it all, Solo still shines with the bubbly, playful personality typical of a bulldog. She’s incredibly affectionate and simply craves the love and attention she’s been missing for so long.

Solo could happily be the only dog in the home, as long as her new family can give her the time, care, and affection she deserves. Since she’s only ever lived outdoors, she’ll need help learning home life basics like house training, but with a few tasty treats (and since she needs to gain weight anyways, it's a double win!), she’ll catch on quickly.

She walks nicely on a lead and would love to explore the world beyond the garden, taking in new sights and smells on fun adventures. Solo also has a gentle nature and could live with children who understand she may need a little extra time to settle in and feel safe.

Solo will need a hearty diet to help get her back up to a good weight, she also has that typical bulldog underbite which we find adds more charm to her character and a possible entropion. Solo will continue to be assessed by the vets and we are hoping will become the happy and healthy dog she is meant to be.

This sweet girl is truly heartbreaking in the best way, so full of love despite everything she’s been through. She deserves the absolute world and a forever home that will finally treat her with the kindness she’s always deserved.
