19-06-25 Cody has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. This very handsome boy is an absolute sweetheart who has already won our hearts. At the moment, Cody is quite shy and unsure of the world around him, but it’s clear that he so desperately wants to be friends, he just isn’t quite brave enough yet.

Cody isn’t used to being handled and finds this a little worrying for now, but with love, patience and gentle reassurance, we believe it won’t take him long to start trusting and showing his true, affectionate self. If you sit quietly near him, he will wander over and say hello and accept a soft, gentle fuss.

Cody will be looking for a calm and quiet home, where he can settle in at his own pace. He will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in his new home, who can show him the ropes and help him gain confidence in his new surroundings.

As he has never lived in a home before, everything will be new to him and he will need to learn all about home life and new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. His adopters will need to be patient and understanding as he settles in. We think once he has gained some confidence he will be quite an active boy so would benefit from an active home.

With the right support, Cody is going to make the most loyal and loving companion. If you can offer him the time, love, and calm environment he needs, you’ll be giving this gentle soul the second chance he so deserves.
