I would like a secure garden to spend time in that is free from hazards.

  • Out and about requirements

I am just a puppy so I need to learn to walk on a lead.

  • Training needs

Like all puppies I will need to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I am blind, please read my information below.

19-06-25 Sweet little Rosie Posey came to us from a breeder as she was sadly born with zero vision and deformities in both eyes. Rosie Posey had one eye removed while she was with us, before moving to a foster home so she could visit a specialist to see if anything could be done to save her remaining eye, sadly there was nothing that could be done. The specialists have recommend that her remaining eye is removed at the time of her spay to avoid any issues further down the line.

Despite this, Rosie Posey doesn't let any of this slow her down! She is your typical puppy, who is fully of energy, loves biting, chewing, weeing, sleeping and cuddling too! The only thing that makes her different from any other puppy is that she's blind. Over the years her fosterer has looked after many blind dogs and has some of her own too and says they really are not that different than any other dog and can still be walked off lead and do everything that a sighted dog would do.

Rosie is just a delight! She is full of personality and character. A total time waster, you will get nothing done as you will want to be cuddling her all the time. She is confident enough that she could be homed as an only dog as long as her adopters were around most of the time, but she could also live with other kind dogs who wouldn't mind a cheeky puppy running around after them!

She will need someone very special to adopt her as she will need a home that is free of hazards, both in the home and garden. Her hearing is as sharp as a tack (we think she can hear a pin drop)! If you think you can give this very special girl a home please apply.

Rosie Posey will need to attend puppy training classes and be spayed at the appropriate age as per the adoption agreement.
