20-06-25 Floss is a sweet but very shut-down little lady who has come to us from a breeder. Right now, the world feels big and unfamiliar to her, and she’s unsure of our intentions. Her sad, soulful eyes will absolutely melt your heart, they speak of a life not yet filled with kindness and care, and she so desperately needs gentle reassurance and time.

Floss finds comfort in the company of her kennel friends and relies heavily on them for confidence. Because of this, she will need at least one kind, resident dog who can help guide her, offer companionship, and show her that the world doesn’t have to be scary.

She has never lived in a home, so everything will be new for her, from the sounds of the washing machine to the feel of carpet under her paws. Her adopters will need to be patient and kind as she learns about house training and all the little things we take for granted. She will also need gentle encouragement when it comes to walking on a lead. For now, some quiet time pottering around the garden and enjoying the sniffy scents of nature may be just the right pace for her.

Floss has so much potential to blossom in the right home. With time, love, and a steady canine friend by her side, she will slowly begin to trust and show the lovely dog we know is hiding beneath her timid exterior.
