20-06-25 Larry’s story is heartbreaking. He was rescued from an illegal dog meat farm in Korea, where life was nothing but fear and suffering. Confined to a tiny wire cage, he had no room to move, no clean water, and barely enough food to survive. He spent his days in silence, knowing only neglect and discomfort. It’s hard to imagine the life he endured but thanks to the incredible team at ARK, Larry was finally freed from that life and given a second chance.

After his rescue, Larry spent time in a foster home in Korea where he began to come out of his shell. There, he started to learn what it means to feel safe and cared for. Now with us in the UK, he’s more than ready to start the next chapter: finding his forever home.

Larry is a confident, friendly boy who walks well on a harness and enjoys his outings. Ideally, Larry would love an active family that will take him on plenty of adventures to make up for all of the sniffs and walks he missed out on. He gets along brilliantly with other dogs and even shares his food, which says a lot about his gentle personality. He could live as an only dog or with another kind, resident dog. Since Larry has lived in a home for a short period of time, he may be house clean but will need a fresh reminder in his new home.

He has the most expressive, soulful eyes, they tell a story of survival, but also of hope. Larry is ready to enjoy a life filled with love, adventure, and everything he’s missed out on.
