21-06-25 Louie has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. He is an extremely sweet and gentle boy who is doing his very best to be brave. It’s clear that Louie has likely never known the kindness of a loving hand, and as a result, he is very touch-sensitive at the moment. He flinches when handled and isn’t comfortable being touched in some areas, but despite all of this, he so desperately wants to be loved.

Once he begins to trust you, Louie will quietly crawl onto your lap, ever so gently asking for affection. It's clear he has a big heart and is desperate for human affection. With time, patience, and lots of TLC, he will start to learn that human hands can be kind and loving and blossom into a wonderful boy.

Louie will need a calm and quiet, adult only home with adopters who have experience with ex-breeding dogs. His new home must have a kind and confident resident dog who can take him under their wing and offer him reassurance as he settles in to his new life.

Louie has never lived in a home before, so he will need kind and understanding adopters who can gently help him adjust to home life and learn new skills like house training. He will also need to learn all about walking on a lead, first by practicing in a secure garden as he gains confidence.

Louie is a very special boy who just needs the right environment to begin healing and blossoming. If you can offer him the safety, security, and love he’s never known, he will reward you with the most heartfelt loyalty and love.
