  • Human family requirements

I would like a home filled with love and kindness!

  • Other pet requirements

I could live with other dogs or be an only dog but I haven't met cats yet.

  • House and garden requirements

I’m still shy, so I will need a secure garden while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

Walks are too scary for me yet, maybe some slow garden sniffs will be a good start.

  • Training needs

Please be patient with me, I'm nervous and learning everything from scratch.

  • Medical issues

I have a few health issues—please read my write-up for more details.

25-06-25 Vodka is an absolute heartbreaker who has come to us from a breeder and is ready for a second chance at life. Although our age assessment suggests she is fairly young, you’d never know it from the poor condition she arrived in. She is currently receiving treatment for dermatitis and mange. Her ears are very sore and are also being treated. Our veterinary team have noted that she has dry eyes and significant scarring on her left eye, which covers most of the corneal surface. As a result, she likely has very limited to no vision in that eye. Additionally, she is being treated for conjunctivitis in both eyes. Our vets have noted she also has slightly abducted hind legs. Despite everything she’s been through, she remains the sweetest little lady.

Vodka is a calm and quiet girl who would make a perfect lap dog. She’s now on a raw diet and having regular medicated baths to help her skin heal. Vodka has never lived in a home before, she will need patient adopters who can gently teach her the basics, such as house training and walking on a lead. For now, some quiet garden sniffs might be the perfect way to start.

Vodka has the confidence to be an only dog, but she could also live happily with a kind, understanding resident dog. She truly deserves the world, and we hope she finds a home full of love, comfort, and care.
