  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks just yet and will find this a bit overwhelming at the moment.

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I have an undershot jaw, but this doesn't bother me.

27-06-25 Velma has come to us from a breeder to start her new life and find her forever home. She is absolutely stunning to look at and is a very unique mix of a Pomeranian and Chow Chow. At the moment, Velma is feeling quite worried and overwhelmed to find herself here. When you first enter her kennel, she can be a little wary and unsure, but once she realises you mean her no harm and you spend some quiet time with her, she starts to come out of her shell and will even enjoy a gentle fuss.

Velma is looking for a calm and quiet adult only home where she can feel safe and secure. Her new family will need to be patient and understanding, giving her all the time she needs to settle in and start to trust at her own pace.

It is essential that Velma has at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home who can take her under their wing and help her learn all about the world. Having a canine friend will be a great comfort to her as she finds her feet.

Velma has never lived in a home before, so she will need kind and patient adopters as she learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She will also need help learning to walk on a lead and will need to practice first in a secure garden while she builds confidence.

With time, patience, and lots of TLC, Velma will start to blossom into the wonderful companion we know she can be and truly deserves a kind and understanding forever home. If you feel you can offer Velma the safe and loving home she longs for, please consider applying to adopt this special girl.

She has an undershot jaw, but this doesn't cause her any issues.
