Flower

28-06-25 Flower has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is a worried little soul who is quite overwhelmed to find herself here at the moment. When she is on her own, she is very sad and shut down, but when she is with other dogs, she truly lights up and finds great comfort in their company. It is heart warming to see how much braver she feels with her canine friends by her side.
For this reason, Flower will be looking for a calm and quiet home where there is at least one other kind and confident resident dog who can be her friend and help her learn all about the big wide world. She will rely heavily on the reassurance of her new doggy companion for comfort.
Flower has never lived in a home before, so everything will be completely new to her. She will need patient adopters who can help her learn all about home life and new skills like house training. She will also need to learn how to walk on a lead when she is ready, first practicing in a secure garden while she gains confidence.
When Flower arrived, we noticed she had some muscle wastage in her front left leg. She can weight bear on this leg, but it causes her to limp and knuckle her foot. She has been assessed by our vets, who are unsure of the exact cause, though it may possibly be neurological. At present, she is trialling some pain relief to help her feel more comfortable, but this is something that may need further investigation in the future and would not be covered by insurance. For this reason she is available by donation.
Flower is a gentle girl who will need understanding adopters who can offer her the time, patience, and support she needs to blossom into the happy Flower she deserves to be. If you feel you could be the special person (or family) to help Flower find her confidence and live a full life, please consider offering her the loving forever home she is searching for.
