Mika came to us from a breeder, and although she’s had some challenges along the way, she’s truly blossomed into a loving and affectionate dog who just wants to be loved and pampered.

Mika is an incredibly active and curious lady, always ready for her next adventure! Whether it’s exploring the yard or going for a walk, she’s eager to get out and about, so she’ll need a home with an active lifestyle where she can burn off her energy. She absolutely thrives on attention and loves being the center of it, so if you’re looking for a cuddly companion who will shower you with love and affection, Mika is the one for you.

Mika’s adoption comes with a few special considerations she has had seizures while in our care, and her future family will need to be aware that she requires ongoing treatment and medication to manage her health. She’s currently receiving daily medication and will need regular vet checkups to monitor her condition. Despite this, Mika is still the same sweet and loving girl, and with the right care, she can live a happy and fulfilling life.

In addition to her medical needs, Mika will need some time and patience as she adjusts to her new home. She’s never had to learn basic house skills like house training or adjusting to household noises like the TV or vacuum, so her adopters will need to provide her with a calm, patient environment where she can learn these things at her own pace. Mika has shown that she’s quick to adapt, and she’s already doing well with lead walking, so she’s well on her way to being the perfect companion.

Mika would be happiest as an only dog in her new home, where she can receive all the attention she craves and be the center of her family's world. While she’s good with other dogs, she prefers her own company and enjoys having her own space.
