Where do I even begin with Juno? She’s one of those truly special dogs who just lights up a room—and your heart—without even trying. Every time you walk through the door, she’s there, tail wagging, full of excitement, ready to make you feel like the most important person in the world.
I’ve had the joy of both working with Juno and now being her foster mum, and honestly, I can’t understand how she hasn’t found her forever home yet. Since coming to stay with me, she’s been nothing short of a dream. She’s curious and loves exploring her surroundings, but she also listens beautifully and is eager to please. She’s absolutely in love with her food, her toys, and especially playing with my other dogs—she’d thrive in a home with another energetic pup to run and play with. “Chase” is her all-time favourite game!
Juno also adores her walks. She gets so excited she’ll stand on her back legs, waiting eagerly for her harness to go on. True to her hound nature, she’s got that nose-to-the-ground determination, happily sniffing out every scent she can find. But after all that adventure, her favourite part of the day is curling up on the sofa for a well-earned nap.
She can be a little shy with new visitors at first, but if given some space and time, she warms up beautifully. It’s been such a joy to watch her come out of her shell and show her sweet, silly, and loving personality.
I’d be lying if I said I haven’t thought seriously about keeping her—she’s that wonderful. But I know in my heart that someone out there is meant to be her person. Someone who will receive all the love she has to give and return it tenfold. Juno is ready—she just needs someone to see her the way I do.
Juno

Ready for Love, Tennis Balls, and a Sofa to Call Her Own
Juno is a 2-year-old Beagle cross who spent some months in kennels before moving to foster care, where she’s showing her true, beautiful self. She’s one of those dogs who leaves pawprints on your heart, loyal, playful, and full of character once she knows she’s safe.
Though Juno can be a little unsure with new people, especially men, she blossoms with patience and kindness. Her foster mum describes her as an absolute joy, curious, cuddly, and full of fun. She loves her food, her toys, and especially her canine friends, so she’ll need a home with another friendly, energetic dog who enjoys a good game of chase just as much as she does.
Like many hounds, Juno is nose-to-the-ground on walks and absolutely lives for her daily adventures. She also loves her home comforts and is happiest curled up beside you after a busy day. She just needs a family willing to give her the time and space to settle, especially if there are men in the household.
Juno’s perfect home will have:
- A resident dog for companionship and play
- A patient, loving family who can help her continue to build confidence
- Plenty of toys, especially tennis balls
- A comfy sofa for all her favourite naps
Juno is ready to find her forever people, the ones who will see past her uncertain first hello and fall in love with the affectionate, fun-loving friend she truly is. Could that be you?

Meet Juno – The Sweetest Girl With a Heart of Gold!
We don't think there are enough words to truly capture just how much we love Juno. This 2-year-old girly is the definition of love and loyalty, always ready to smother you in cuddles and sneak in a few kisses on your nose. First impressions aren't always her strongest suit! In typical Beagle fashion, she announces herself with a mighty bark and unfortunately, this sometimes puts people off before they get to meet the gentle, affectionate dog she truly is.
A Loving Soul Who Needs Time to Trust
Juno recently had a short stay in a home, where she quickly settled into family life. She loved exploring the garden, curling up on the sofa for cuddles, and bonding with her new mum. However, she found men in the household quite scary, so any men in her future home will need to be patient and willing to earn her trust. Given time and kindness, Juno will show you just how much love she has to give.
The Perfect Companion for Another Playful Dog
Juno absolutely adores her canine friends and will need to have a resident dog in her new home, someone who enjoys playtime as much as she does! Whether it's a game of chase or running after a tennis ball (her favourite thing in the world!), she thrives with an energetic playmate who can match her zest for life. She has been kennelled with both large dogs and petite Beagles, so she’s quite flexible with her furry friendships.
What Juno Needs in a Home
A friendly resident dog to help guide her and provide companionship.
A patient family who will allow her time to adjust, especially around men.
Lots of toys and tennis balls to keep her entertained.
A comfy sofa where she can rest her paws after a day of fun.
The Best Friend You’ve Been Waiting For
Juno may not give the warmest welcome at first, but once she knows and loves you, she will be your best friend for life. She melts at the first sign of belly rubs, loves affection, and has so much love to give.Edit Update Text
